Hidrocortisone Bluepharma 10mg/g Cream is used to treat various skin conditions in adults, such as dermatitis, reaction to sunburn or insect bites. It is also used in all cases where the use of a corticosteroid is indicated, such as inflammatory manifestations and pruritus caused by dermatoses. Hidrocortisone Bluepharma, for its refreshing and drying action, is indicated in acute and exudative situations.

Active substance : 10mg of Hydrocortisone.

Dosage and method of administration:

Hydrocortisone Bluepharma is applied two to 3 times a day to the affected areas. On the face it is necessary to avoid contact with the eyes. As a rule, impermeable dressings should not be applied to the area treated with hydrocortisone as it produces occlusion which increases the absorption of the drug and may potentiate the appearance of side effects given the greater propensity for systemic absorption, the occurrence of thermolysis and local hypersensitivity reactions. This should only be done on the advice of the doctor and under his supervision. It should not be used for more than 7 days, after which, if there is no improvement, the doctor should be consulted. Hydrocortisone Bluepharma is a medicine for cutaneous use.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. It is contraindicated in systemic and cutaneous tuberculosis or viral etiologies (eg chickenpox and herpes simplex), in injured skin, in lupus labialis or in the genital area. It should not be used near the eyes, face or infected areas. It should not be used in children, unless expressly indicated by a doctor. Pregnancy and/or breastfeeding, unless expressly indicated by a doctor.

If in doubt or if symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
