Urgo Cold Sore Patch is a medical device indicated to relieve and accelerate the healing of cold sores from the first symptoms.

Directions for use:

Wash your hands before and after each use. Clean the infected area of the lip and make sure it is dry before applying. Do not apply creams or lotions. Separate the patch from the blister. Peel off the first half of the white protective paper without touching the adhesive. Apply the first half of the patch to the cold sore, centering it on the affected area. After applying the patch to the affected area, carefully peel off the remaining second half of the white protective paper. Smooth the patch until it is firmly attached. Rub the patch with your fingers to warm it and improve its initial adhesion to the skin. The patch may discolor as the exudate is absorbed. The patch can be left in place for up to 5 days in the absence of infection. To remove the patch, carefully lift one side and gently peel it off. If there is discharge around the patch, change it as needed.
