Cincofarm 100mg 60 capsules

Cincofarm 100mg is indicated for the prophylactic treatment of migraine, recurrent, mixed and tension headaches.

Active substance: 100 mg Oxytriptan.

Oxytriptan (L-5-hydroxytryptophan), Cincofarm is the biological precursor of serotonin. It has the property of being able to easily cross cell membranes, especially those of brain cells. The most notable feature of Oxytriptan (Cincofarm) is that it causes an important and constant rapid increase in the rate of intracellular serotonin in the brain.

Posology and method of administration:

The recommended average dose for adults is 3 capsules a day (300 mg daily), divided into 3 doses. This dose can be progressively increased, until adequate control of symptoms is achieved. Maintenance doses are, for most cases, between 300 and 600 mg per day.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
