Cetix Nasal Spray 64mcg/dose is indicated for the prevention and treatment of perennial or seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Active substance : 64 micrograms of budesonide.

Dosage and method of administration:

Dosage should be individualized and reduced to the minimum dose necessary to maintain effective control of symptoms. Adults and young people aged 18 years and over The recommended dose is one application (64 micrograms) in each nostril, once a day, preferably in the morning (128 micrograms/day), or in more severe cases, twice a day. day, morning and evening (256 micrograms/day). The maximum daily dose should not exceed two applications in each nostril. The patient should be informed that the full effect of budesonide is only obtained after a few days of treatment. It may take up to 2 weeks for the patient to begin to notice relief from symptoms. Treatment of seasonal rhinitis should, if possible, be started before exposure to allergens. Concomitant treatment with other drugs may sometimes be necessary to control eye symptoms caused by the allergy. Once the desired clinical effect has been obtained, usually within 1-2 weeks, the maintenance dose should be reduced to the minimum amount needed to control symptoms. Cetix Nasal Spray is not recommended in children and adolescents under the age of 18 years. For nasal use only. Not to be used in eyes or mouth. Shake before using. Before using a new bottle for the first time, or if the bottle has not been used for a while, it is first necessary to press the nasal applicator as many times as necessary until it produces a fine spray (cloud). To use the medication, place the nasal applicator in one nostril while closing the other, ensuring that the nasal applicator is away from the nasal septum. Spray into the nostril while inhaling and then exhale through the mouth. Regularly clean the cap and nasal applicator, rinsing with warm water. Let it dry and put it back in correctly.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Untreated localized infection that affects the nasal mucosa. Age under 18 (unless prescribed by a doctor).
