Telfast Nasal Spray 120 doses

Telfast Nasal Spray It is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Active substances: 55 micrograms of triamcinolone acetonide per dose.

Triamcinolone acetonide is a more potent derivative of triamcinolone and is about 8 times more potent than prednisone. Although the precise mechanism of the antiallergic action of corticosteroids is unknown, they are very effective in the treatment of allergic diseases in man.

Posology and method of administration:

Nasal application. Patients aged 18 years and over: The recommended starting dose is 220 micrograms in 2 sprays in each nostril once a day. When symptom control is achieved the maintenance dose is 110 micrograms (1 spray in each nostril once a day). Without medical supervision, triamcinolone acetonide is not recommended for use longer than three months. If symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis do not alleviate or worsen within 14 days, a doctor should be consulted.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
