Lamisil 1 10mg/g Cutaneous Solution 4g

Lamisil 1 10mg/g Solution Cutaneous is indicated for the treatment of tinea pedis (athlete's foot) in adults.

Active substances: Terbinafine 10mg/g cutaneous solution.

Terbinafine has a broad spectrum of antifungal activity against fungal skin infections caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton (eg T.rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. violaceum), Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum.

Dosage and method of administration:

For cutaneous use only. Adults 18 years of age or older. The solution should be applied once to both feet, even if the lesions are visible on only one of them. This ensures the elimination of fungi (dermatophytes) that may be present in areas of the foot where there are no visible lesions. Improvements in symptoms are usually seen after a few days. If there are no signs of improvement two weeks after treatment, you should consult your pharmacist to verify that you have used the product correctly or consult your doctor to confirm the diagnosis. Patients should wash and dry their feet and hands before applying the medicine. They must treat one foot first and then the other. Patients should start treatment by applying a thin layer of the drug between the toes, around the toes, on the sole and lateral edges of the foot up to 1.5 cm. The medicine should be applied in the same way to the other foot, even if the skin appears healthy. Allow the medicine to dry for 1-2 minutes until it forms a film, then wash your hands. Lamisil 1 should not be massaged into the skin. To increase the effectiveness of therapy, the treated area should not be washed for 24 hours after application. It is therefore recommended to apply Lamisil 1 after showering or bathing and wait until the same time the next day to wash your feet again. After washing, which must be delicate, the feet must be carefully dried. Patients should use the amount needed to cover both feet as indicated. Any remaining unused medicine must be discarded.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients.
