Advantage Dogs is a product that protects your faithful 4-legged friend from flea infestations.

Indications for use, specifying the target species:

Prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis) and treatment of biting lice (Trichodectes canis) in dogs. Fleas on the dog are killed within 1 day of treatment. One treatment prevents future flea infestations for 4 weeks. The veterinary medicinal product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).

Dosage and method of administration:

For external use only. Dosage and treatment schedule: < 4 kg: Advantage 40 for Dogs 1 x 0.4 ml; ≥ 4 < 10 kg: Advantage 100 for Dogs 1 x 1.0 ml; ≥ 10 < 25 kg: Advantage 250 for Dogs 1 x 2.5 ml; ≥ 25 < 40 kg: Advantage 400 for Dogs 1 x 4.0 ml; ≥ 40 kg: Advantage 400 for Dogs 2 x 4.0 ml. Reinfestations resulting from the appearance of new fleas in the environment may continue to occur for six or more weeks after treatment has been started. Therefore, more than one treatment may be necessary, depending on the intensity of the environmental flea infestation. To facilitate environmental disinfestation, it is recommended to additionally use an environmental treatment suitable for adult fleas and their developmental stages. The veterinary medicinal product remains effective if the animal gets wet, e.g. after bathing or exposure to heavy rain. However, in cases of frequent bathing or washing, it may be necessary to repeat the treatment, depending on the presence of fleas in the environment. In these cases, do not repeat the treatment more frequently than once a week. In the case of infestations by biting lice, a new observation by the veterinarian is recommended 30 days after treatment, as some animals may require a second treatment. Apply Advantage Dogs by parting the fur on the back at the base of the neck until the skin is visible. Squeeze the tube firmly several times to empty the contents only onto the skin. Avoid contact of the product with the skin; wait until the application site is dry.
