Fipon Duo L 20-40kg 1 pipette

Fipon Duo L 20-40kg is an antiparasitic medication for external use, indicated for the treatment of flea and tick infestations in dogs weighing between 20 and 40 kg.

Active substance: Fipronil 268mg + (S)-methoprene 241.20mg per 2.68ml pipette.

Indications for use, specifying the target species:

For the treatment of dogs weighing between 20 and 40 kg: For the treatment of flea infestations, alone or in association with ticks and/or biting lice. Elimination of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.). The insecticidal efficacy against new adult flea infestations persists for 8 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication, by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity), and of larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) descending from eggs laid by adult fleas, for eight weeks after application. Elimination of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The veterinary medicinal product has persistent acaricidal efficacy for up to four weeks against ticks. Elimination of biting lice infestations (Trichodectes canis). The veterinary medicine can be used as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), when this has been previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.

Dosage and method of administration:

Topical route. One 2.68 ml (L) pipette per dog weighing between 20 and 40 kg, corresponding to a minimum recommended dose of 6.7 mg/kg of fipronil and 6 mg/kg of (S)-methoprene, for topical application to the skin. In the absence of safety studies, the minimum interval between treatments is 4 weeks. Method of administration: Hold the pipette vertically. Tap the narrow part of the pipette lightly to ensure that all of the contents are contained in the main body of the pipette. Break off the tip. Part the hair on the animal's back, at the base of the neck, in line with the shoulder blades, until the skin is clearly visible. Bring the tip of the pipette close to the skin and squeeze it several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin at the application site. Temporary changes in the hair (clumped/greasy hair) may be observed at the application site.

Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the excipients.
