Seresto's compounds® are safe
When people use flea and tick treatment on their cats, safety is an important issue. Seresto® has been rigorously tested to ensure that all compounds included in the formulation have an adequate safety profile, not only for your cat, but also for you, your family and the environment.
Seresto® contains two active substances: imidacloprid which kills adult fleas, flea larvae and lice (dogs only) - and flumethrin, which repels and kills adult larvae, nymphs and ticks. Together, imidacloprid and flumethrin have a significantly superior effect (called synergistic effect) in insects vs. what could be expected by adding the effectiveness of the two components individually.
