Paracetamol Nideran 500mg is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.
Active ingredient: Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol.
Dosage and method of administration:
Oral administration. The tablets should be taken with a glass of liquid, preferably water. Adults and adolescents over 15 years: 1 or 2 tablets 3-4 times a day. The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours. No more than 6 tablets (3 g) should be taken in 24 hours. Children: The dosage defined in terms of weight must be respected. The child's age based on weight is provided for informational purposes. The recommended daily dose of paracetamol is approximately 60 mg/kg/day, divided into 4 or 6 daily doses, i.e., 15 mg/kg every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg every 4 hours. Children weighing between 33 and 40 kg (10 to 12 years of age): 1 tablet per dose, every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day. For children weighing between 41 and 50 kg (aged 12 to 15 years): 1 tablet per dose, every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 6 tablets per day.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

According to current legislation, non-prescription medicines in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
