Siccafluid 2.5mg/g Ophthalmic Gel is a non-prescription medicine, a tear substitute, containing a lubricant called Carbomer 974P.
Active substances: 974P carbomer 2.5 mg/g
Posology and method of administration:
Use this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet, or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The usual dose is 1 drop in each eye that needs treatment, up to 4 times a day. Wash your hands before opening the single-dose container. Make sure the gel is at the tip of the container. To open the container, rotate the flap. Tilt your head back and look up. Carefully pull down the lower eyelid of the eye that needs treatment until a small "pouch" is formed. Turn the single-dose container downwards. Squeeze it to put 1 drop in the “bag”. Loosen the lower eyelid and blink a few times. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the other eye, if it also needs treatment. A single dose container is sufficient to treat both eyes, if necessary.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
In case of doubt or persistence of symptoms consult your doctor or pharmacist.
