Artelac Eye Cleansing Wipes are a medical device consisting of sterile, single-dose wipes, intended for the daily hygiene and care of the eyelids, eyelashes, and periocular area.

Characteristics:

• Recommended for cleaning eyelids and eyelashes, helping to remove eye secretions and other residues, such as dust and particles.
• Suitable for use in cases of allergies, inflammation or infections, such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis.
• Recommended for periocular hygiene before or after ophthalmic surgery.
• Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera, Allantoin, Bio-glycerol and Chlorhexidine.
• Alcohol-free, paraben-free, latex-free, and fragrance-free.
• Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
• Suitable for adults and children from 36 months of age.
• Each wipe is sterile, disposable, and individually packaged.

Directions for use:

Wash your hands thoroughly, open the sachet and remove a wipe. Gently wipe over eyelids and eyelashes to remove secretions and other residue. In case of persistent secretions or blocked tear ducts, the closed sachet can be warmed for a few minutes in water at approximately 40°C and used as a warm compress, gently massaging the area. In case of swelling, it can be pre-chilled in the refrigerator and applied open to the closed eye for a few minutes as a cold compress. Use a new wipe for each eye in case of infection. Do not reuse. For external use only. Discontinue use if obvious irritation or hypersensitivity to the product occurs.
