Duobiotic 8 sachets
Rebalances bacterial flora and normalizes intestinal functioning.
The intestine contains more than 400 different bacterial species, corresponding to up to 100 billion microorganisms that make up the intestinal flora. Lactobacilli (predominant in the small intestine) and bifidobacteria (present in the colon) are the main constituents of the intestinal flora, which help to rebalance the bacterial flora and normalize intestinal functioning. Its presence hinders the action of harmful bacteria, promotes the synthesis of vitamins and digestive enzymes, improves the activity of the intestinal mucosa and stimulates the immune system. The balance between the different species of microorganisms present in the intestinal flora is influenced by changes in diet, lifestyle, stress, food intolerances, lactose and gluten, antibiotic intake, chemotherapy or radiotherapy, which can lead to diarrhea, constipation, flatulence and halitosis. Changes in intestinal flora are also associated with other particular conditions: diarrhea, gastroentritis, colitis, Crohn's disease and irritable bowel syndrome.
The restoration of the balance of the intestinal flora can be done through the ingestion of prebiotics and prebiotics. Probiotics are selected living microorganisms that colonize the intestinal flora and restore its balance. Probiotics are non-digestible sugars that promote the growth of beneficial microorganisms for the intestinal flora.
