Vicks Cough Syrup Honey 180ml

Vicks Cough Syrup Honey is a medication indicated for the treatment of dry and irritating coughs.

Active substance: 1.33 mg of dextromethorphan hydrobromide per ml of syrup.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and children 12 years and older: 3 x 1 measure of 5 ml (teaspoon) of syrup. Children aged 6 to 11 years: 1 x 1 measure of 5 ml (teaspoon) of syrup. If necessary, repeat the dose every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses per day (24 hours). Administer to children under 6 years of age only on medical advice. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Severe liver disease. Patients undergoing treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Patients with productive cough. Asthmatic cough and/or respiratory failure. Children under 6 years of age.
