Teva Litmuxair 60mg 20 effervescent tablets

Teva Litmuxair is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the mucolytic of productive cough in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion and impaired mucus transport.

Active substance: Each effervescent tablet contains 60 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years Litmuxair 60 mg half effervescent tablet three times daily (equivalent to 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride daily) for the first 2 to 3 days. Then half a Litmuxair 60 mg effervescent tablet twice daily (equivalent to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride per day). In adults and adolescents from 12 years of age, the dosage may be increased up to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride twice daily (equivalent to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride daily) if necessary.

In accordance with the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription, in Portugal, can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
