Pulmiben Unidia 100mg/ml Oral Solution 120ml

Pulmiben Unidia 100mg/ml Oral Solution is a mucolytic adjuvant in the bacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.

Active substances: 100 mg of carbocysteine.

Carbocysteine is considered a mucolytic, however it has a mucoregulatory action: it thins the mucus and reduces its viscosity and activates the ciliated epithelium.

Dosage and method of administration:

The following dosage is recommended, unless otherwise indicated by a doctor: Adults and children over 12 years - 15 ml of oral solution (1,500 mg of carbocysteine) in a single dose, every 24 hours. Children from 6 to 12 years - 7.5 ml of oral solution (750 mg of carbocysteine) in a single dose, every 24 hours. Children from 2 to 5 years - 5 ml of oral solution (500 mg of carbocysteine) in a single dose, every 24 hours. The solution is administered orally. The drug can be administered diluted in water or other liquid and preferably before meals. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids during the day.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. Active gastroduodenal ulcer.
