Mucodox 8mg/ml Syrup 200ml

Mucodox 8mg/ml Syrup is indicated as a mucolytic in disorders of the respiratory system with increased bronchial secretion, namely chronic bronchitis or COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).

Active substance : sobrerol.

Sobrerol increases the volume of bronchial secretions through a hydration mechanism, thus acting as a fluidifier. In addition, it modifies the biochemical and cellular composition of the mucus and facilitates ciliary movements.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults: On average, half to one measure (10 to 20 ml) 2 times a day. Children over 2 years: On average, half a measure (10 ml) 2 times a day. The dosage can be adapted according to the clinical situation. Do not use for periods longer than 7-10 days without medical advice.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Mucodox is contraindicated in children under the age of 2 years.
