Broncholiber 30mg it is a mucolytic adjuvant in the antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.

Active substance: 30mg of ambroxol.

Ambroxol is a specific thinner that acts on the viscosity and structure of mucus. It increases the production of lung surfactant and stimulates ciliary activity. These actions result in an improvement in the flow and transport of mucus (mucociliary clearance). The improvement in mucociliary clearance, which has been demonstrated in clinical pharmacological studies, facilitates sputum and coughing.

Posology and method of administration:

Adults: 1 tablet, 3 times a day. The therapeutic effect can be enhanced by administering 2 tablets twice a day. The tablets should be taken with liquid after meals. Read the package leaflet carefully and if in doubt or if symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
