Microlax

Microlax is a non-prescription drug indicated for the symptomatic treatment of rectal or recto-sigmoid constipation, encopresis, constipation during pregnancy, constipation associated with childbirth and surgery (pre and postoperative use); Preparation of the rectum and sigmoid for endoscopic examinations.

Active substance: Sodium Citrate + Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and children over 3 years of age: Administer the contents of one tube per day. In marked constipation, it may be necessary to apply the contents of two tubes. Children up to 3 years: In most cases, one tube of MICROLAX at 270 mg/3 ml + 27 mg/3 ml is sufficient. Remove cannula cap or break cannula seal. Slightly compress the tube until a drop appears at the end of the cannula. Introduce the cannula into the rectum. Completely compress the tube. Remove the cannula, keeping the tube compressed.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
