Stodorfen 400mg is a non-prescription medication indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, menstrual pain, toothaches, fever, and pain associated with colds.

Active ingredient: Each capsule contains 400 mg of ibuprofen.

Dosage and method of administration:

For short-term use only. Undesirable effects can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest period of time necessary to control symptoms. Adults and adolescents weighing more than 40 kg (aged 12 years or older). The initial dose is one capsule taken with water. If necessary, take one capsule every six hours. Do not exceed three capsules (1200 mg) in a 24-hour period. In adolescents, if the medication is needed for more than 3 days, or if symptoms worsen, consult a doctor. In adults, if the medication is needed for more than 3 days in cases of fever and 4 days in the treatment of pain, or if symptoms worsen, the patient is advised to consult a doctor. If taken immediately after meals, the onset of action of Stodorfen may be delayed. If this happens, a higher dose of Stodorfen than recommended in section 4.2 (dosage) should not be taken or until the correct interval between administrations has elapsed. Oral route. The capsules should not be chewed. It is recommended that patients with sensitive stomachs take Stodorfen with food.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., bronchospasm, asthma, rhinitis, angioedema, or urticaria) associated with the administration of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
