Active Substances: 20mg/ml ibuprofen.

Ibuprofen has significant anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties. These actions are fundamentally related to the ability of this substance to inhibit cyclooxygenase and consequently prostaglandins, important mediators of inflammation and fever. Ibuprofen also appears to have an inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation.

Administration to children under 6 months of age should only be prescribed by a doctor. Adults: Although other dosage forms of Ibuprofen are generally used for adults, when there is difficulty in swallowing, Ibuprofen Algik can be administered at a dose of 3 measuring spoons (300 mg), 4 times a day. Ibuprofen Algik should be taken after meals. Do not take for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
