Benergin 12.5mg/g Ointment It is used for the symptomatic treatment of skin allergies, sunburn, insect stings and hives.

Active substances: 12.5 mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride.

Diphenhydramine is an H1 receptor blocking antihistamine and belongs to the chemical group of oxyethylamines. This type of antihistamine exhibits a local anesthetic action that contributes to the antipruritic effect obtained with these compounds in allergic skin reactions. Relieves pain and itching through the depression of skin sensory receptors.

Posology and method of administration:

Apply 3 to 4 times a day, as long as the affected areas are not bruised or flicteous and for short periods.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde.
