Mymus 66.6mg/ml Oral Drops 30ml

Mymus 66.6mg/ml Drops Oral is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal meteorism and aerophagia in infants and children.

Active substance : 66.6mg/ml of simethicone.

Simethicone lowers surface tension; this property allows the incorporation of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, forming free gas, which is easily removed. Thanks to this property, simethicone can be used for the symptomatic treatment of pain, cramping, a feeling of tension, meteorism and flatulence characteristic of many gastrointestinal disorders.

Dosage and method of administration:

Infants and children: 20 drops (=0.6 ml) 2-4 times a day, unless medically indicated otherwise, preferably after meals. Shake well before using. The drops must be mixed with a little water.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Generally contraindicated in pregnancy. Mymus should not be given to children under 28 days of age.
