Livetan 500mg 20 tablets

Livetan 500mg is a herbal medicine used to relieve mild nervous tension and sleep disorders.

Active substance: Dry extract of valerian root.

Posology and method of administration:

Always take Livetan according to the instructions in the package leaflet. Talk to your pharmacist if you are not sure. The usual dose is: In cases of mild nervous tension: 1 film-coated tablet up to 3 times a day. In cases of sleep disorders: 1 film-coated tablet half an hour to 1 hour before bedtime, with an additional dose of a coated tablet at dusk, if necessary. Maximum dose: You should not take more than 4 film-coated tablets per day. The film-coated tablets should be taken without chewing with a sufficient amount of liquid (for example a 200 ml glass of water). Livetan can be taken regardless of meals.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Unstable angina, recent history of myocardial infarction, clinically significant arrhythmia, and history of recent stroke. Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
