Betadine 100 mg/ml Solution for gargling 125ml

Betadine 100 mg/ml Gargle Solution is indicated:

Disinfection of the oral cavity and oropharynx. Halitosis.

Active substance: povidone-iodine 10.00g/100ml.

Elemental iodine (I2), present in povidone-iodine, has long been known as a highly effective microbicidal agent that rapidly kills bacteria, viruses, fungi, and some protozoa in vitro.

Dosage and method of administration:

Betadine is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age. For topical use only. Use as a gargle or mouthwash for 30 seconds several times a day. For halitosis, use diluted: 1 part Betadine Gargle Solution to 2 parts water. This medicine should not be swallowed. This medicine should not be used for a period of more than 14 consecutive days.

According to current legislation, non-prescription medicines in Portugal can only be delivered to the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to deliveries to other Member States of the European Union.
