Folyoben 56 tablets

Folyoben is a mineral-vitamin supplement (potassium iodide) indicated during pregnancy: in the correction of nutritional deficiencies and in the prevention of neural tube defects and neurological disorders in the fetus.

Active substance: 0.4 mg of folic acid, 0.002 mg of cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) and 0.262 mg of potassium iodide (equivalent to 0.2 mg of iodine).

Dosage and method of administration:

The following dosage schedule is recommended: 1 tablet per day, taken before meals. Folyoben can be started one month before conception and during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Potassium iodide is contraindicated in patients suffering from acute bronchitis, symptomatic hyperthyroidism or latent hyperthyroidism if the dose is greater than 0.15 mg daily.
