Cecrisin 1000mg 20 effervescent tablets

Cecrisine 1000mg is indicated for the prevention of vitamin C deficiency states that may be associated, namely with situations in which there is a higher consumption of Vitamin C, such as growth, pregnancy, lactation and intense physical exercise or food deficient in vitamin C. Asthenia associated with convalescence and infectious diseases.

Active substances: ascorbic acid.

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is an active substance, essential for man. Ascorbic acid and dihydroascorbic acid form an important redox system.

Posology and method of administration:

Adults: One effervescent tablet, dissolved in 1/2 glass of water, once or twice a day. Pediatric population: Half a tablet dissolved in 1/2 glass of water, once or twice a day. It is not recommended to administer more than 1 g daily in adults. In children and patients with renal impairment the doses should be lower.

According to current legislation, medicines not subject to a prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
