Cestal Plus 200 tablets

Cestal Plus is a drug indicated for the treatment of mixed infections of nematodes and tapeworms of the following species:

Nematodes: Ascarids: -Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adult and late immature forms). Hookworms-Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults). Tricurids-Trichuris vulpis (adults).

Cestodes: Echinococcus species, (E. granulosus, E. multilocularis), Taenia species, (T. hydatigena, T. pisiformis, T. taeniformis), Dipylidium caninum (adult and immature forms).

Do not use simultaneously with piperazine compounds.

Active substances: Praziquantel 50mg, Pirantel Emboate 144mg and Febantel 200mg

Target species: Dogs.

Posology and route of administration:

Administer one tablet for every 10 kg of body weight, orally, in a single administration corresponding to the following doses of the active substances:

Praziquantel 5 mg / kg; Pyrantel (base) 5 mg / kg; Fenbendazole 20 mg / kg

Puppies and small dogs: 2-5 kg 1/2 tablet; 5-10 kg 1 tablet.

Medium dogs: 10-20 kg 2 tablets; 20-30 kg 3 tablets.

Large dogs: 30-40 kg 4 tablets; 40-50 kg 5 tablets.

Method of administration:

The tablets can be administered directly into the dog's mouth or disguised in food. Fasting is not necessary before treatment. For general deworming 1 treatment is sufficient. Due to the risk of reinfection, treatment should be repeated every three months. Due to the lipid coating of praziquantel and the addition of flavoring agents, chewable tablets are voluntarily ingested by most dogs.
