Bravecto is a veterinary medicine used to treat flea and tick infestations in dogs.
The drug can be used as part of the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (an allergic reaction to flea bites).
Effective onset occurs within 8 hours for fleas (C. felis) and 12 hours for ticks (I. ricinus).
Active substance: fluralaner.
Target species: Dogs.
Posology and method of administration:
Bravecto is available as a spot-on solution in pipettes, available in different strengths for dogs of different weights.
Available to:
Apply to the dog's skin, according to the animal's weight. The content of a pipette filled with Bravecto is applied directly to the dog's skin in one (when the volume is small) or several points along the dog's dorsal line from the shoulders to the base of the tail. For optimal control of flea and tick infestations, the product should be administered every 12 weeks.
