Butox 7.5 Pour-On 2.5L

Butox is indicated for the control of Flies (Haematobia irritans, Hippobosca equina, Musca domestica) in cattle, Lice in cattle and sheep (Linognatus vituli, L. ovillus and Haematopinus eurystenus), including malophages (Damalinia ovis and D. bovis) and Ticks in cattle (Dermacentor marginatus, Haemaphysalis punctata, Rhipicephalus bursa and R. sanguineus).

A single application ensures effective protection in animals for 2 months against flies and lice, including malophages, and for 2 to 5 weeks against ticks in cattle.

Active substances: Deltamethrin 7.50 mg.

The veterinary medicinal product is an ectoparasiticide that contains Deltamethrin as an active substance, which belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids. Its mode of action interferes with neurotransmission acting on the sodium channels of the target parasite. After dermal application, deltamethrin is slightly absorbed and is accessible in the target ectoparasite.

Posology and route of administration:

- Flies in cattle:

• 100 kg - 300 kg: 20 ml
• > 300 kg: 30 ml

-Lice including malophages in cattle and sheep:

• 10 ml per animal regardless of weight.

-Ticks in cattle:

• 15 ml / 100 kg (min. 15 ml to max. 75 ml).
