Relief of inflammation and pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders in cats.

Active substance: Meloxicam

Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) belonging to the oxicam group, which acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby exerting anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-exudative and antipyretic effects. Reduces leukocyte inflation in inflamed tissue. To a lesser extent, it also inhibits thrombocyte aggregation induced by collagen.

Posology and route of administration:

Oral use. Administer directly in the mouth or in the feed. Shake well before use.

The initial treatment consists of a single dose of 0.1 mg meloxicam / kg body weight on the first day. Treatment should be continued with oral administration (at 24 hour intervals), with a maintenance dose of 0.05 mg meloxicam / kg body weight). Particular attention should be paid to the accuracy of the dose. The recommended dose should not be exceeded. The oral suspension should be administered using the dosing syringe that comes with the packaging.
