Contralac 20 is a prescription drug indicated for suppression of lactation in pseudopregnancy and suppression of unwanted postpartum lactation.

Active substance: Metergoline 2mg.

Posology and route of administration:

Route of administration: oral route. Recommended dose: 0.2 mg of metergoline/kg b.w./day, divided into two doses, equivalent to 1 tablet/20 kg b.v., twice a day (morning and evening). The usual duration of treatment is 4 days.

If the symptoms persist after the end of the treatment, continue for another 4 days (ie 8 days in total).
