Tolfedine is a medication indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and/or painful locomotor conditions in dogs and cats.
Target species: Canines (dogs) and felines (cats).
Active substance: 6mg of tolfenamic acid.
Tolfenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgesic and antipyretic action.
Contraindications:
The administration of this veterinary medicine is contraindicated in cases of gastroduodenal ulcers, liver failure, blood dyscrasia and hypersensitivity to tolfenamic acid.
Dosage:
Administer 4mg of tolfenamic acid per kg orally, once daily, with food, for 3 days. The animal's weight should not exceed 4.5kg.
