Milbemax Dogs is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic for small dogs and puppies weighing more than 0.5 kg and over 2 weeks of age. It comes in the form of chewable tablets, composed of the active substances milbemycin oxime (2.5 mg/comp) and praziquantel (25 mg/comp). This medicine is indicated for the treatment of mixed infections by tapeworms and nematodes, as well as in the prevention of heartworm.
Dosage and method of administration:
Minimum recommended dose: 0.5 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg, single dose, orally. The veterinary medicinal product must be administered with or after food.
0.5 - 1 Kg: ½ tablet.
> 1 – 5 Kg: 1 tablet.
> 5 – 10 Kg: 2 tablets.
