Megecat 6 tablets

Megecat are tablets for contraception and regulation of estrus in cats and treatment of miliary dermatitis.

Contraindications:

• Diabetes.
• Gestation.
• Reproductive system disorders.
• Pre-pubertal females.
• Animals with cystic hyperplasia of the endometrium.
• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.

Adverse reactions:

• Increased appetite.
• Weight gain.
• Megestrol acetate may precipitate the clinical expression of pre-existing diabetes mellitus.

In long-term treatments, effects on the uterus may occur, such as cystic hyperplasia of the endometrium, and effects on the mammary gland, such as hyperplasia and benign tumors, which disappear when treatment is stopped.

Usage advice:

To prevent and control estrus, administer 1 tablet every 15 days for the desired period; in the treatment of miliary dermatitis, administer 3 tablets per week for the first 3 weeks, then start administering 2 tablets per week for the following 3 weeks, and finally just 1 tablet per week for the last 3 weeks of treatment; for maintenance treatment, administer only 1 tablet per week.
