Therios 75mg 200 Pills

Therios are chewable tablets for cats.

Active substance: Cephalexin

Cats: Treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to cephalexin. Lower urinary tract infections caused by E. coli or Proteus mirabilis; treatment of skin and subcutaneous infections: pyodermatitis caused by Staphylococcus spp. and wounds and abscesses caused by Pasteurella spp.

Dosage and administration route:

Oral administration.

15 mg cephalexin per kg of body weight, twice a day, equivalent to 1 tablet per 5 kg of body weight during:

• 5 days on wounds and abscesses.
• 10 to 14 days in urinary tract infections.
• At least 14 days in pyodermatitis. Treatment should be continued for another 10 days after the lesion disappears.

To ensure the correct dose, body weight should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing.

In case of administration of half of the tablets, place the remainder in the blister and use for the next administration.

The pills have flavor. They can be administered with food or directly in the animal's mouth.
