Ypozane 3.75mg 7 pills

Ypozane is indicated for the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) in male dogs.

Active substance: Osaterone Acetate 3.75mg

Osaterone is an anti-androgen steroid that inhibits the effects of excess production of the male hormone (testosterone).

Dosage and administration route:

For oral administration.

Administer 0.25 – 0.5 mg osaterone acetate per kg body weight once daily for 7 days.

• Dogs 3kg to 7.5kg - 1 tablet of 1.875mg
• Dogs 7.5kg to 15kg - 1 tablet of 3.75mg
• Dogs 15kg to 30kg - 1 tablet of 7.5mg
• Dogs 30kg to 60kg - 1 tablet of 15mg

The tablets can be administered directly into the animal's mouth or into food. The maximum dose must not be exceeded. The onset of the clinical response to treatment is usually seen after 2 weeks. The clinical response persists for at least 5 months after treatment.
