caninsulin is indicated for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in dogs and cats.

Active substance: Insulin (of porcine origin) 40 IU/ml.

Do not administer intravenously.

Do not administer to animals in the hyperacute phase of diabetes mellitus, with ketoacidosis.

Dosage and administration route:

Subcutaneously.

Shake the bottle until a homogeneous and uniformly milky suspension is obtained. The foam on the surface of the suspension resulting from homogenization should be dispersed before administration of the product and, if necessary, the product should be gently mixed in order to keep the suspension evenly and evenly milky. Clumps may be seen in the insulin suspension: do not use the product if visible clumps persist after shaking.

The dose depends on the degree of deficiency in the animal's insulin production, thus differing between animals.

Protect from light. Do not freeze.

Store in a refrigerator (2°C - 8°C).
