• Carrier pigeons.

This medicine has an antiseptic action on the airways, a bronchodilator effect and is a mucus thinner. It can be used together with antimicrobials for the treatment of respiratory diseases where there is a change in the mucociliary transport function and production of viscous mucus. Stimulant expectorants are often used to treat cough associated with chronic bronchial conditions.

Bromhexine is a synthetic derivative of the herb vascina. Bromhexine has a mucolytic action and is used in the treatment of respiratory diseases associated with sticky or excessive mucus. Dosage and administration route:

Songbirds and carrier pigeons: 1 to 2 ml per liter of drinking water.
