Strepfen Honey and Eucalyptus sugar free 8.75mg 24 tablets

Strepfen Honey and Eucalyptus is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the short-term symptomatic relief of sore throat in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Active substance: One tablet contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen.

Dosage and method of administration:

The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest period of time necessary to control symptoms. Adults and adolescents over 12 years are recommended to suck/slowly dissolve one lozenge in the mouth every 3 to 6 hours as needed. Maximum of 5 lozenges per 24 hour period. It is recommended that this product be used for no more than three days. For oral administration and for short-term treatment only.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to flurbiprofen or any of the excipients, patients who have previously developed hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. asthma, bronchospasm, rhinitis, angioedema or urticaria) in response to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs. Active or recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage (two or more distinct episodes with proven ulceration) and intestinal ulceration. History of gastrointestinal haemorrhage or perforation, severe colitis, haemorrhagic or haematopoietic disorders related to previous NSAID therapy. Last trimester of pregnancy and/or severe heart failure, renal failure or hepatic failure.
