Polysulfad Ointment 20g

Polysulfadé is indicated for short-term topical treatment in: superficial infections, small degree I and II burns infected by microorganisms sensitive to the active ingredients, pyoderma, folliculitis, contagious impetigo, ectima, infectious eczematoid dermatitis.

Active substances:

Polysulfadê is a combination, in the form of an ointment, of two antibiotics, whose spectra are complementary:

Polymyxin B sulphate 1 0 000 IU / g.

Zinc bacitracin 500 IU / g.

Posology and method of administration:

Apply two or more times a day on the affected surface, according to medical advice. Polysulfadê is intended for skin use. It is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
