Permetrina LMP 50mg Gel 30g

Permetrina LMP is a non-prescription medication indicated for the treatment of scabies infestation in adults, adolescents, children and infants over 2 months of age.

Active substance: 1g of gel contains 50mg of permetrina (Permethrinum).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance permethrin or to other substances of the pyrethrin group or to any of the excipients. In such cases, treatment should be switched to a chemically different scabicidal agent.

Dosage and method of administration:

Unless otherwise indicated by the doctor, the recommended dosage is as follows: Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age should apply up to 30g of gel. Children aged between 6 and 12 years should apply up to 15g of gel. Children aged between 2 months and 5 years apply up to 7.5 g of gel. The medicine is for external use only and should not be swallowed.

In accordance with the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription, in Portugal, can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
