Recreol Ointment 50mg/g 30g
Medication not subject to medical prescription for topical use, which acts on the skin as a healing and emollient.
Recreol Ointment is a non-prescription drug indicated for the auxiliary treatment of superficial skin lesions of different origins, through hydration of the epidermal barrier, helping epithelialization with subsequent anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects.
Active substance: 1 g of ointment contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol (Dexpanthenolum). Excipients with known effect: 1 g of ointment contains 250 mg of wool fat, 18 mg of cetyl alcohol and 12 mg of stearyl alcohol.
Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise indicated, in adults and children, dexpanthenol should be applied in a thin layer to the affected area one to several times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the nature and course of the disease. Patients should be advised to consult a physician if they do not feel better or if they feel worse after 14 days. Most studies on the topical effects of dexpanthenol have been of short duration, usually 3 to 4 weeks.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

In accordance with the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription, in Portugal, can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
