Recreol Cream 50mg/g 30g

Recreol Creme is a non-prescription medication indicated for the auxiliary treatment of superficial skin lesions of different genesis, through the hydration of the epidermal barrier, helping epithelialization with subsequent anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects.

Active substance: 1 g of cream contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol (Dexpanthenolum). Excipients with known effect: 1 g of cream contains 15 mg of propylene glycol, 13 mg of wool fat, 24 mg of cetyl alcohol and 16 mg of stearyl alcohol.

Dosage and mode of administration:

Unless otherwise indicated, in adults and children, dexpanthenol should be applied in a thin layer to the affected area one to several times daily. The duration of treatment depends on the nature and course of the disease. Patients should be advised to consult a physician if they do not feel better or if they feel worse after 14 days. Most studies on the topical effects of dexpanthenol have been of short duration, usually 3 to 4 weeks.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Administration into wounds in patients with haemophilia due to the risk of severe bleeding.

In accordance with the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription, in Portugal, can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
