Bromhexine has the pharmacodynamic capacity of decreasing mucus viscosity and stimulating the activity of the ciliated epithelium, allowing an increase in mucociliary clearance.

Posology and method of administration:

Bromhexine Bluepharma 0.8mg/ml Syrup (5ml ≅ 1 teaspoon). Children under 2 years: 1.25 ml, 3 times a day. Children 2-6 years: 2.5 ml, 3 times a day. Children 6-12 years: 5 ml, 3 times a day. Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml, 3 times a day. Bromhexine Bluepharma 0.8mg/ml Syrup should only be given to children under 2 years of age under medical supervision.
