Milid Erdostein 20 Capsules 300mg

Erdosteine Milid is a non-prescription drug indicated to facilitate the elimination of sputum in acute and chronic respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis.

Therapeutic indications:

• Indicated in the treatment of acute respiratory infections and COPD exacerbations in the presence of hypersecretion.

Posology and method of administration:

Milid 300 mg capsules: 1 capsule 2-3 times a day orally. Treatment should not exceed 10 days.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s). Patients with active peptic ulcer. Due to the likely interference of metabolites produced by the metabolism of methionine, Milid is contraindicated in patients with liver cirrhosis and a deficiency of the enzyme cystathionine synthetase. Due to lack of data in patients with renal impairment with creatinine clearance. Must not be used in children under the age of 2 years.
