Varihesive Hydrogel Ointment 10x15g

Varihesive Hydrogel Ointment is a medical device for moisturizing and managing partial and full thickness wounds, such as leg ulcers and pressure injuries.

Characteristics:

• Sterile gel composed of hydrocolloids dispersed in a transparent and viscous excipient.
• Creates a moist environment conducive to the healing process.
• Helps promote the natural process of autolytic debridement.

Directions for use:

Clean the wound thoroughly with sterile water, saline solution, or according to the protocol provided. Dry the wound edges. Apply directly to the wound. A sterile applicator can be attached to the tip of the tube to facilitate application, especially on deep wounds. Do not allow the gel to leak onto the surrounding skin. It is recommended that the gel be replaced no more than three days later when used on wounds with devitalized and/or necrotic tissue, and no more than seven days later when used on clean wounds or those with granulation tissue.
