Paracetamol Mylan 500mg 20 tablets

Paracetamol Mylan 500mg is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, sore throat (excluding tonsillitis), mild to moderate headache. It is also indicated in the treatment of fever lasting no more than 3 days, and in the symptomatic treatment of flu-like syndromes and colds.

Active substances: 500mg paracetamol.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic and antipyretic action.

Dosage and method of administration:

Generally, the lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest time needed to relieve symptoms. Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 16 years and over (or weighing more than 50 kg): 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours, (3 to 4 times a day) up to a maximum dose of 3000 mg per day. The minimum interval between doses should be 4 hours. Children and adolescents aged 12 years and over (or weighing more than 40 kg): One tablet to be taken a maximum of 4 times a day, up to a maximum dose of 2000 mg per day. Paracetamol Mylan should not be used in children under 12 years of age or who weigh less than 40 kg.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance(s) or to any of the excipients. In liver diseases and in individuals with renal impairment.
