Preservision 3 protects the cells responsible for the visual system from oxidation and degeneration. Rich in anti-oxidant vitamins and minerals, macular pigments (lutein and zeaxanthin) and fatty acids.

Characteristics:

• Anti-Oxidants: Anti-oxidants (vitamins C, E, Zinc and Copper) protect cells from the aggression of free radicals, products derived from metabolic oxidation reactions and responsible for cell aging. these reactions occur constantly, both in the eyes and in the rest of the body.
• Lutein and Zeaxanthin: They are components of the macular tissue located in the central area of the retina. They are not synthesized by the body, so a daily intake of food is essential. Both have an anti-oxidant role and also a filter in blue light, toxic to the retina.
• Omega3 Fatty Acids: They are essential components of the organism and cannot be synthesized by them, so they must be contributed by food. The main sources of omega 3 are fatty fish and some vegetable oils. The retina is particularly rich in omega 3 fatty acids, especially DHA, which suggests a strong involvement of these lipids in visual function.
