Duraphat 5000 500mg/100g Toothpaste is indicated for the prevention of dental caries in adolescents and adults, especially in patients at risk of multiple caries (coronary and / or root caries).

Active substances: 1 g of toothpaste contains 5 mg of fluoride (in the form of sodium fluoride), corresponding to 5000 ppm of fluoride.

Posology and method of administration:

Only for use on individuals aged 16 and over. Do not swallow. Brush daily in a careful way:

apply 2 cm of paste on the toothbrush with each brushing. 2 cm provide between 3 and 5 mg of fluoride. 3 times a day, after each meal, vertically, from the gum to the tip of the tooth. Careful brushing takes approximately 3 minutes.

Method of administration: Dental use.

According to the legislation in force, medicines not subject to medical prescription in Portugal can only be delivered in the municipalities of Maia, Gondomar, Matosinhos, Porto, Santo Tirso, Trofa, Valongo and Vila do Conde. This limitation does not apply to shipments to other Member States of the European Union.
